NautiQuiz privacy policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026 · This is a translation of the Italian version, which prevails in case of discrepancies.
In short: NautiQuiz does not collect, send or share any personal data. The app works fully offline and does not even have permission to access the Internet. Your progress stays on your device only.
1. Who we are
This privacy policy covers the NautiQuiz app (the "App"), developed and published by 123studio.dev ("we" or "us").
For any privacy question you can write to privacy@123studio.dev.
2. Data the App collects
None. The App requires no sign-up, does not ask for your name, email or other contact details, does not use your location, camera, contacts or other device data, and contains no ads, analytics tools or third-party services.
The App does not declare the Internet access permission, so it cannot transmit any data to us or to anyone else.
3. Data stored on your device
To work, the App stores the following only on your device, in its own private storage area:
- the history of exam simulations and practice sessions, with your answers and scores;
- the questions you added to your favorites;
- settings, such as the light or dark theme and the intensive review threshold.
This data is never sent to us and we have no way to access it. It is protected by the security mechanisms of the operating system, which prevent other apps from reading it.
4. Retention and deletion
The data stays on your device until you decide to delete it. You can do so at any time:
- in the App, under Impostazioni > Ripristina tutte le statistiche (Settings > Reset all statistics), to delete the history of simulations and practice sessions;
- by removing questions from your favorites;
- by clearing the App's data from your device settings, or by uninstalling it: either way, all data is deleted.
5. Device backup
If automatic backup is enabled on your device (for example Android backup to your Google account), the operating system may include the App's data in the backup, to restore it on a new device. The backup is managed by the operating system provider under its own privacy policy and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in your device settings.
6. Distribution store
The App can be downloaded from Google Play. Downloads and updates are handled by Google under its own privacy policy. Google Play only provides us with aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as the number of installs or the crash reports sent by devices that chose to share them, which do not allow us to identify individual users.
7. External links
The App contains a link to the page of the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti) the questions come from, and links to this page and to the terms of use. Opening them takes you to the browser, where the privacy policies of the respective websites apply.
8. Children
The App is intended for people preparing for the boating license exam and is not directed at children. In any case, it does not collect personal data from any user, including minors.
9. Your rights
Since we do not process any personal data of App users, we have no data to access, correct or delete. Your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) remain guaranteed: you can send any request to privacy@123studio.dev and you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Changes to this privacy policy
If the App changes in a way that involves processing personal data, for example with new online features, we will update this page before releasing the new version and change its last updated date.
